About Kathy

As an inspirational writer I love to write about building our relationship with God, growing a strong faith walk, and living in the benefits of His abundant love, mercy, and grace in our everyday life. I enjoy writing devotions and other inspirational pieces and a little poetry here and there.

For more than a decade I was a freelance writer in the Christian market including writing for several LifeWay publications, Standard Publishing, David C Cook, Group Publishing, Walk Thru the Bible, and other publishers of Christian resources.

I have written two devotional books. First Breath of Morning: Where God Waits for You Every Day and CLAY: Reflections on the Life God Is Shaping in Us.

The devotions in First Breath of Morning have an emphasis on building our relationship with God through drawing near and getting to know Him and strengthening our faith as we grow a deeper walk with Him.

The devotions in CLAY reveal more vividly how our relationship with God is lived out as we grow and are changed by Him through His work in our lives and through our circumstances.

In the pages and writings of these two devotional books - readers will be refreshed, encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that God is actively and constantly at work in your life for your good through the personal relationship He desires to have with you, from the first breath of each new day and throughout every day.

My husband and I live in north Texas in a suburb far outside of Dallas. We are wonderfully blessed to have two daughters, two sons-in-law, one adorable grandson, and another grandchild on the way. Being grandparents is more joy than we ever could have dreamed, which makes us very thankful to have all of our family residing nearby in the surrounding area.

I will not be posting devotions on this site any longer, but all information pertaining to my books will remain. Including my eBook, The Hope Collection which is now on the Home Page. This is an eBook I published last year with 31 devotions, but have recently updated it to 40 devotions. I hope you will check it out.
